Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Kicks & Kits collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We only ask for what we need to run the shop and get your order to you.
Who's responsible for your data
Kicks & Kits is the data controller for the information you share with us. If you have any questions or requests about your data, contact us via our contact page or at orders@kicksandkits.org.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, delivery address and what you ordered.
- Contact & requests — anything you send us through the contact or "request a jersey" forms.
- Newsletter — your email address, if you sign up for drop alerts.
- Usage data — basic, mostly anonymous information about how the site is used (see Cookies below).
We do not collect or store your card details. All payments are handled directly by Stripe on their secure systems.
How we use it
- To process and deliver your order and send you order updates.
- To answer your questions and handle returns or issues.
- To send you marketing emails about new drops — only if you've signed up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the site secure and understand what's popular so we can improve it.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the services that help us run the shop:
- Stripe — to take payment securely.
- Delivery partners — to ship your order to you.
- FormSubmit — the service that delivers our order and enquiry emails.
- Google Analytics — to measure site usage (only if you accept analytics cookies).
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — to measure whether our ads lead to orders, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested (only if you accept advertising cookies).
We never sell your personal data to anyone.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar storage:
- Essential — to remember what's in your bag and your cookie choice. These are always on because the site can't work without them.
- Analytics — Google Analytics, to see which pages and kits are popular. These only load if you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
- Advertising — the Meta pixel, so we can tell which of our ads actually lead to orders and stop paying for the ones that don't. This also lets Meta show our ads to people like you. It only loads if you accept, and you can change your mind at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep order information for as long as we need it to fulfil the order and meet our legal and accounting obligations, and no longer than necessary.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, just contact us. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
